Anthony - Donegal

"I have to say a massive thankyou to our guide Steve Fuller who made a fantastic family holiday in Cornwall an absolutely memorable one.  I contacted him about 6 weeks prior to our planned vacation with our familiy trip wish list.  He actually went out and bought an additonal kayak to fulfill our requirements - the big banana.  He took us on the kayak tour of a lifetime - pirate stories, hidden smugglers paths, ship wrecks and a real jewel treasure hunt (antique sea glass to the adults but treasure to the kids).  Top that off with a fantastic picnic lunch and we had the perfect day.  Thanks for helping us create memories Steve, the kids still talk about your jokes and stories."

Simon - Hampshire

"Steve is a mine of information, although never reaching overload or boring - just enough to be interesting.  Even his soft west country accent added to the atmosphere - it felt like he knew all this rather than having boned up on it to be a good guide.  As I am also involved in adult education I really appreciated the way from the outset Steve quickly assessed what the group was interested in doing, made some suggestions of different paddles we could do, helped the group decide where and then explained his plan for the day.  Throughout the day he continued to check we were doing what we wanted, gave us options and still managed to lead us back completely on time.  He he is an example of an ISKGA guide then they're brilliant."

Tony - Ireland

"As a competitive kayak angler, Steve came highly recommended.  So a quick text followed by a call and he made a note of my requirements: me and a friend, fishing for bass, all equpment provided, a pint at the end and, oh, good weather.

He delivered on all fronts!!

During the pre-trip brief it was clear he was qualified, insured, knowledgeable and responsible.  Our safety, the ecology of the area and welfare of the fish were his highest priorities.  We caught 12+ bass, a gurnard and other species.  We also got some mussels for our tea.  My friend locked our keys in the car.  Steve fitted us and our kit in his car and drove 23 miles in the wrong direction to get us home.  What a hero - I cant wait to go again."

Charlotte and Rupert - Maenporth

"We had a fantastic evening's kayak with Hook and Paddle on a beautiful Corninsh evening from Maenporth Beach.  They had put together a very like-minded group of people and our guide, Steve, immediately put us at ease with his calm manner.  First of all we paddled over to te wreck of the Ben Asdale, Steve was very knowledgeable and told us how it ended up on the rocks.  We the paddled over to Bream Cove, stopping at a rock arch we could paddle through.  No pressure to do it but we were all encouraged.  Steve pointed out the seabirds as we saw them and taught us about the fishing in this beautiful area.  We arrived back on the beach before sunset, having had such a great time.  Looking forward to the next one! Highly recommended!"

Dave - Sleaford

"My first ever experience of sea kayaking.  Stephen provided 2 sea kayaks and we set off to explore.  I'm not sure how far we travelled that day but it was a memorable experience.  Stephen was always encouraging and patient.  I must thank him for giving me the opportunity to view the coastline from a different perspective.  I recommend it to all."

Alex - Camborne

"I was fortunate enough to spend a glorious afternoon with Stephen exploring the rock formations and some hidden charming scenery along the Cornish coast.  My somewhat minimal kayaking skills were put to the test as the swell picked up and I faced the possibility of a capsize.  Stephen's guidance helped me to concentrate on kayaking above water level Only from the water can one truly appreciate the enormity of the Cornish coast and this experience allowed me access to the soul fulfilling attractions of water, air, sky and rock.  It was a very secure and enjoyable experience that provided for a weeks worth of delicious mackerel cuisine.  A must do for any adventure seekers or outdoor enthusiasts.  Highly recommended to all."
